New Delhi: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today participated in a road hockey event here.
Trudeau, along with his wife Sophie Gregoire, presented
Canada s ice hockey jerseys to the budding Indian girls during the event
at the Canadian High Commission.
Canadian ice hockey
player and Olympian Hayley Wickenheiser was also present during the
event and she shared her knowledge of the game with the young Indian
girls.
Wickenheiser had won four gold and one silver medal for Canada in the five appearances at the Winter Olympics.
India's six time Winter Olympian Shiva Keshavan was also present at the event.
