Canadian PM Justin Trudeau condemned the “acts of violence" at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton

Canada Brampton Hindu Sabha Mandir Temple attack by Khalistani Extremists latest news: In a shocking incident in Canada, several devotees were attacked at a Hindu temple in Brampton by an alleged group of Khalistani extremists on Sunday.

In the videos making rounds on social media, a group of men were seen holding Khalistani flags and thrashing people with sticks outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir.

Likewise, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau condemned the “acts of violence" at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton. He said it was unacceptable.

"The acts of violence at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today are unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely. Thank you to the Peel Regional Police for swiftly responding to protect the community and investigate this incident," said PM Justin Trudeau. 

'Red Line Crossed'

On the other hand, the Canadian Member of Parliament Chandra Arya condemned the violence. He stated that a “red line has been crossed" by Khalistani extremists. He also highlighted the rise of brazen violent extremism in Canada.

Chandra Arya shared a video of the attack and wrote, “A red line has been crossed by Canadian Khalistani extremists today. The attack by Khalistanis on the Hindu-Canadian devotees inside the premises of the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton shows how deep and brazen Khalistani violent extremism has become in Canada."

Similarly, Canadian opposition leader Pierre Poilievre condemned the attack and emphasised that all Canadians should be able to practice their faith in peace.
