Ranveer Singh Returns in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Trailer Released
The makers of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar, released the trailer of the upcoming film on Saturday ahead of its theatrical release later this month. Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19 in five languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
The three-minute and 25-second trailer gives a glimpse of an action-driven story centred on intelligence operations and revenge. Ranveer Singh plays the lead role and appears in a dual role as Jaskirat Singh Rangi and Hamza Ali Mazari.
The trailer shows Rangi undertaking a risky mission while operating from within a criminal network in an attempt to dismantle a terrorist organisation.
The film also featured R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Madhavan portrayed strategist Ajay Sanyal, Rampal appeared as ISI Major Iqbal, while Dutt played SP Chaudhary Aslam.
According to the makers, the story is set against the backdrop of intelligence operations linked to several major geopolitical and terror incidents, including the Kandahar aircraft hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The film serves as a sequel to Dhar’s 2025 film ‘Dhurandhar’, which the makers said earned more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
