Today, Punjab BJP general secretary Anil Sareen termed this news about Sunil Jakhar's resignation from the post of party president baseless and false.

He said, "Mr Jakhar is president of the state unit of the BJP and performing his duties as president. This is a false propaganda being spread by the opposition parties."
