Chandigarh: 25th Jan'19 (Niel Bhalinder Singh): CBI has registered a case on 23.01.2019 against Sh. B.S.Hooda Ex CM, Haryana ; Sh. T.C.Gupta, IAS , then Chief Administrator, HUDA/then Director , Urban Estate, Town & Country Planning, Haryana and others including 15 private colonizers u/s 120-B of IPC r/w 420 of IPC and 13(2)r/w13(1)( d) of PC Act.
Hon'ble Supreme Court vide order dated 01-11-2017 directed for CBI investigation of land acquisition process ( around 1417 acres of land) held during the period 2009 to 2012 for Sectors-58 to 63 and 65 to 67 of Gurgaon. Searches are being conducted today at more than 20 places including Chandigarh and, Rohtak, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mohali etc.
