Chandigarh declared summer vacation for government schools from May 23

Punjab School Summer Vacation Holidays 2025 Date, Latest News Today: As temperatures are showing fluctuations in Punjab, several schools have started to announce summer vacations. However, as of now, only private schools, that too only a few, have announced summer vacation in their schools. 

While some schools have announced summer vacation for kindergarten students from May 25, and for students of other classes from May 31, some of the schools are announcing summer break from June 1.  

Since there has been no official confirmation by the Punjab Government regarding the summer break, several private schools have started to announce the dates for summer vacations.

Traditionally, summer vacations in Punjab are announced in the third week of May and continue until July 1.

 On the other hand, Chandigarh declared summer vacation for government schools from May 23 only, while the Haryana government declared summer break for all the schools from June 1.
