Farmers Protest: Punjab Govt to Give Rs 1 Cr to Shubkaran Singh's Family, Govt Job to His Sister

Farmers Protest, Punjab's Shubkaran Singh Death News: In a major development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday announced financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the family of Shubhkaran Singh, who was "martyred" during the farmers' protest at Khanauri border.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote: "The family of Shubkaran Singh, who was martyred during the farmer's movement on the Khanuri border, will be given financial assistance of Rs 1 crore by the Punjab government and a government job to his younger sister. Due legal action will be taken against the culprits."
