The minister announced on Sunday through a post on the social media platform X, stating: "Met AAP Punjab president Aman Arora today. Accepted the decision of Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal to reject the resignation.”

Maan’s resignation had sparked speculation over possible unrest within AAP’s Punjab unit. However, the latest development indicates that the party leadership, including national convener Arvind Kejriwal, was not willing to accept her departure and sought to resolve the issue internally.

AAP Punjab president Aman Arora played a key role in convincing Maan to reconsider, paving the way for her return to the cabinet without any changes to her portfolio.

Anmol Gagan Maan, known for her popularity among the youth and her background as a singer-turned-politician, has been a visible and vocal face of AAP in Punjab. Her resignation had raised eyebrows, especially given her growing political stature within the party.
