AMRITSAR: Kirandeep Kaur, wife of fugitive Amritpal Singh, has been stopped at the Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar. Kirandeep Kaur is being questioned at the airport. She was leaving for London from Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in Amritsar. The airport authority has currently detained her and is being questioned.
Kirandeep reached Amritsar Airport at 11:30 am. She had to catch a flight to London at 1:30 pm. The immigration department is interrogating her. The Punjab government has issued a statement that they did not detain Kirandeep Kaur. As per the reports, Immigration officials had barred her from boarding the flight based on a lookout notice issued earlier. Punjab Police has not taken her into custody.
