Yesterday, five vehicles collided in Jalandhar under similar foggy conditions.
Punjab News: As Punjab has been witnessing foggy weather conditions for the past three days, road accidents have increased across the state. Earlier today, an ambulance collided with a parked trailer on the Jalandhar–Chandigarh National Highway.
The ambulance was transporting a patient when the accident occurred, according to reports. Another ambulance was immediately called to the spot to shift the patient to a hospital.
A road safety team reached the scene and, with the help of passersby, moved the damaged ambulance to the side of the road. Police said the accident occurred due to extremely low visibility caused by dense fog.
