Principal Dr. Navjot Kaur extended gratitude to the Chief Guest

CHANDIGARH: Shri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, Chandigarh organized a book donation drive to promote literacy and reading culture among the students of SGGS Collegiate Public School under its management.

Harjinder Kaur, Ex-Mayor, Chandigarh, Chairperson, CCPCR was the chief guest and Paramjit Singh, Director, Sikh Missionary College and Regional Center of Entrepreneurship was the special guest. More than 200 books were distributed to school students to encourage all round development and inculcate the habit of reading from an early stage.

Principal Dr. Navjot Kaur extended gratitude to the chief guest and other guests. He motivated the students to develop the habit of reading as it enhances knowledge, improves concentration and promotes all round development. He appreciated the efforts of 'Chintan' - Reader's Society of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Library of the college for organizing the event.
