The SGPC alleges that the film portrays an anti-Sikh agenda, downplays the Sikh massacre and genocide, and aims to defame the Sikh community.
The SGPC, in a statement, called the film a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation and foster negative perceptions about Sikhs. Members of the committee and workers will stage protests tomorrow at various cinema halls in Punjab and other cities where the film is scheduled to be screened.
Protest locations include:
- Chanda Tara Cinema (near bus stand): SGPC staff will assemble at 9 a.m.
- Mall of Amritsar (Alpha One): Dharma Prachar Committee members will gather at 9 a.m.
- Trillium Mall (near Darbar Sahib): SGPC workers will arrive at 9 a.m.
