Punjab Government Reshuffles Key Positions in School Education Department
Chandigarh, April 15, 2025 – In a major administrative reshuffle aimed at bolstering the state's education governance, the Punjab government has made key appointments in the School Education Department.
Gurinder Singh Sodhi, a 2016-batch PCS officer, has been appointed as the new Director of School Education (Secondary). Meanwhile, Kalpana K., a 2014-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, has been posted as the Additional Secretary, School Education.
These appointments are expected to enhance the department’s administrative efficiency and policy implementation.
