Punjab: Kharif procurement to start from 16 September, Mandis Repairing Campaign From 14 -10 Sep: The Punjab government has issued orders to ensure proper procurement arrangements for the Kharif procurement season starting from 16 September.
A special campaign will be run from 14 to 19 September for the removal of water and mud from flood-affected mandis. These mandis will be fully repaired and made functional by 19 September, so that farmers do not face any issues in selling paddy.
