Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's Son Joins JDU Officially: “Bihar's future”
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, on Sunday officially joined the Janata Dal (United) party at the party office in Patna.
The development comes days after CM Nitish Kumar announced his desire to become a member of the Rajya Sabha and filed his nomination for one of the five Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar.
Speaking to the gathering, Nishant Kumar said he will live up to the trust people have placed in him.

“I thank everyone. I will try to live up to the trust you all have placed in me. I, the entire Bihar, and the entire country are proud of what my father has done in the last 20 years,” Nishant said.
He further stated it was his father's personal decision to go to the Rajya Sabha.
"I accept and respect his decision. We will work in the guidance of my father Nitish Kumar..." he added.
Meanwhile, Bihar minister Ratnesh Sada called Nishant’s joining the party “Bihar's future”, adding that the party will complete and carry forward the work that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has left unfinished.
The minister made the remarks while speaking to the news agency ANI ahead of the official joining.
