Sri Anandpur Sahib: Giani Kuldeep Singh Garhgaj officially assumed his role as Jathedar of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib in a ceremonial event held in the presence of the esteemed Panj Piaras.

Arriving at Takht Sahib early in the morning, Giani Kuldeep Singh paid his respects before the holy shrine. The ceremony included a special prayer (ardaas) performed by Head Granthi Giani Joginder Singh, followed by the Panj Piaras bestowing a dastar (turban of honor) upon the newly appointed Jathedar.

The event was attended by SGPC Secretary Partap Singh and Manager Malkiat Singh, along with prominent community members such as Gurcharan Singh Kuhala, Jagdish Singh Buttar, and Hardev Singh.

In his address, Giani Kuldeep Singh urged the Sikh community to maintain unity and work together for the betterment of the faith. Expressing his gratitude to the Almighty for entrusting him with this responsibility, he pledged to continue his service (sewa) with dedication, focusing on religious preaching (dharm prachar) and the promotion of Sikh values.

The ceremony marked a significant moment for the Sikh community as Giani Kuldeep Singh Garhgaj took on the revered role of Jathedar, vowing to serve the community with humility and devotion.
