According to information, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Bains tweeted: "In view of the current situation, instructions have been issued to close all government, private and aided schools, colleges and universities in the state of Punjab for the next 3 days."
The Chandigarh Administration stated that "All schools to remain closed tomorrow and day after in UT Chandigarh."
