CHANDIGARH: Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory, Chandigarh Banwarilal Purohit has extended warm greetings to the people of Punjab and Chandigarh on the eve of Holi festival.
In his message, the Governor said that the festival of Holi inspires us to fight against Iniquity, injustice and lies. He said that this festival is a symbol of the arrival of spring and unites people with a sense of mutual love and harmony, forgetting all the differences of caste and religion.

"Let us uphold the sanctity and dignity of this festival and celebrate it with traditional enthusiasm and joy in a safe and eco-friendly manner," Purohit said.
