Jalandhar: DC Announces Half-Day Holiday for All Educational Institutions Tomorrow for Shobha Yatra: In view of the Shobha Yatra being held in Jalandhar to mark the Parkash Utsav (birth anniversary) of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal has issued orders declaring a half-day holiday on 6th October after 12 PM for all schools, colleges, and ITIs (both government and private) falling under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
