Committee formed for probing matter & further action begins work...

Spokesman News Service: Chandigarh, November 3: The District Manager of Markfed Kulwinder Singh stationed in Amritsar has been suspended over sexual harassment charges. A committee formed by the Markfed for carrying out a comprehensive probe into the matter has begun it's work. 

It is worth mentioning that after being accused of sexual harassment by a female staff member the District Manager Kulwinder Singh of Markfed has been suspended with immediate effect by the orders of the Cooperation Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa who took very serious note of the matter. During the period of suspension, the headquarters of the suspended District Manager would be Chandigarh head office. 

The MD Markfed Mr. Varun Roojam while disclosing more has said that the orders were issued yesterday late evening for suspension with immediate effect of the said District Manager and a committee already in place regarding matters of sexual harassment has started probe into the matter. He also said that the committee would submit it's report soon and thereon further action would be initiated. He also divulged that anybody found guilty would face strict action.
