JALANDHAR: Massive fire broke out in the sports equipment  manufactures Goodwin factory, near Narula Palace in Dilbagh Nagar, Jalandhar. Factory-made sporting goods and raw materials worth Lakhs were burnt to ashes. The fire was so fierce that it took 20 fire brigade vehicles to control it.

Goodwin sports industry uses wood, plastic and fiber equipment which caught fire. At first, the factory workers tried to control the fire at their level, but instead of getting controlled, the fire flared up. When things got out of hand, they informed the fire brigade.

Notably, The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Narinder, a fire employee present at the spot, said that he had received a call that massive fire had broke out in Goodwin Sports Industry near Narula Palace. He immediately reached with two vehicles and started to control the fire but the fire was so fierce that 20 vehicles and tankers reached the spot.
