An FIR has been registered against unidentified persons for allegedly trying to extort Rs 50 lakh from a woman at Shukratal area in the district, the police said today. According to a complaint filed by 'sadhvi' Rajandeshwari of Balaji Yog Dham research centre, she received a threat letter yesterday demanding Rs 50 lakh and land, SP (rural) Ajay Sehdev said. We are probing the charges, the officer said.
