Arvind Kejriwal's promise for water bills waiver ahead of Delhi Elections 2025— Ahead of the 2025 Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal has made a bold promise aimed at addressing grievances surrounding inflated water bills. Speaking at a press conference, Arvind Kejriwal declared that residents who have received erroneous water bills would not need to pay them, as his government would waive off such charges once re-elected.
"People who have received the wrong water bills need not pay them. Their wrong bills will be waived off after the elections," Kejriwal assured, receiving applause from the gathered crowd.
The announcement is the latest in a series of election promises by AAP as it seeks to retain power in the national capital. Kejriwal highlighted the party’s achievements in providing free water and electricity to many residents and reiterated his government’s commitment to addressing citizen grievances.
