Linseed oil firmed up in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following good demand from paint and allied industries. While, groundnut oil, refined palmolein, castor seed bold and castor oil commercial held stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

In the non-edibles segment, linseeds oil moved up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 940 from Friday's closing level of Rs 935. Castor seed bold and castor oil commercial ended unaltered at Rs 4,475 per 100 kg and Rs 925 per 10 kg respectively. Moving to the edibles section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 870 per 10 kg and Rs 678 per 10 kg, respectively.
