Medium sugar prices dropped at the Vashi wholesale market today following lower demand from stockists and retailers. Small sugar prices ended mixed on alternate bouts of buying and selling. Medium sugar (M-30) went down by Rs 40/18 per quintal to Rs 3,210/3,442 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,250/3,460. However, small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,140/3,292 per quintal as compared to Rs 3,152/3,282.
