Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial weakened further in an otherwise lackluster Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on lower demand from soaps and shippers industries. Elsewhere, linseeds oil also slipped owing to sluggish demand from paint and allied industries. Meanwhile, groundnut oil and refined palmolein held stable in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible section, linseeds oil declined by Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 773 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 780. Castorseeds bold moved down by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 4,070 as against Rs 4,080 and castor oil commercial edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 844 from Rs 846, yesterday. Moving to edible segment, groundnut oil, and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 845 per 10kg and Rs 720 per 10 kg respectively.
