Mumbai : Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha's "Mulk" is set to arrive in theatres on July 27. The social thriller stars Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapur, Taapsee Pannu and Prateik Babbar.  Sinha took to Twitter to share the news. "'Mulk' releases July 27, 2018. This is the most important film of my career till date. Keep your love coming," the director wrote, alongside a still of the film.

Kapoor also tweeted the release date. "Courtroom drama 'Mulk' will get its theatrical release on the 27th July, 2018. A Benaras Media Works presentation, the film is directed by Anubhav Sinha produced by Deepak Mukut and Anubhav Sinha. It is presented by Kamal Mukut," the veteran actor wrote.

Pannu described the story of the film as "the most relevant topic of current time". The film, jointly written by Sinha and Mushtaq Shiekh, revolves around the story of a joint family that hails from a small town in India, who are out to reclaim their honour after being embroiled in a controversy.
