MOHALI: Proving age is no barrier to sporting excellence, 92-year-old Bapu Kirpal Singh from Punjab showcased his athletic prowess on an international stage. The spirited senior secured a remarkable second-place finish in the 100m race, earning a well-deserved silver medal at the esteemed 35th Malaysia International Open Masters Athletics Championship.
The Championship, held at Stadium University Malaya, witnessed several athletes from India Master Chandigarh, including Kripal Singh, Jeet Singh, Ranjit Singh, and Ratan Singh, bringing honor to both the country and the state by clinching medals.
