Ahead of the India vs South Africa Women’s World Cup final, cricketer Kranti Goud’s mother expressed that she never imagined her daughter would come this far and is now praying for India to lift the cup.
Speaking to ANI, her mother Neelam Singh in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, said, “We all are praying for India to win the World Cup... I never thought she would come this far... I believe she will play well...”

Meanwhile, Kranti Goud’s sister Roshni Goud wished Kranti the best, saying, "She is a great bowler and we all pray that she takes good wickets... India has been performing well and we wish that it plays well today as well..."

South Africa has won the toss.
The final match, which was scheduled to begin at 3 PM this afternoon, had been postponed due to light rainfall. The toss was scheduled to take place at 4:30 PM, and the match will begin at 5:00 PM at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
