Tarn Taran (Punjab), April 26, 2025: A pall of grief has descended over village Bharowal in Tarn Taran district following the tragic death of a young resident, Subhakarman Singh, in a road accident in New Zealand, Babushahi reported.

Speaking to the media, Subhakarman’s grieving father, former Sarpanch Amrik Singh Raju, shared that his son, around 34 years old, was married and the father of a young child. He said Subhakarman had been traveling a short distance from his home when he met with a fatal accident.

"Our world has been shattered," Amrik Singh said. He added that the family is now preparing to travel to New Zealand to perform his last rites.
