US President Joe Biden described the shooting incident as ‘sick’

WASHINGTON: A former student killed six, including three children and three staff members at a private elementary school in Nashville on Monday. Nashville cops said that the 28-year-old female shooter has been shot dead by police. However, the reason behind the incident has not yet been revealed by the police. According to officials and media reports, 6 people including three children have died in this incident. Police identified the six victims as one of the three children was eight years old and two were aged nine, while the adults killed were aged 60. The school in which this incident took place was a pre-school.

Officials said that they received the first emergency call at around 10 am. Within 15 minutes, the police arrived at the scene and the security forces killed the shooter. 

United States President Joe Biden described the latest shooting incident as ‘sick’ and said gun violence was ‘ripping the soul of this nation,’ . He urged Congress to pass a ban on the assault weapons often used in mass shootings.
