Palestinian Militant Group Hamas Says They Are Ready To For The Negotiating Table Latest News: Palestinian militant group Hamas on Sunday said that the group was ready to ‘immediately’ sit at the negotiating table after the US President Donald Trump issued ‘last warning’ to them to accept his latest ceasefire and hostage release proposal, India Today reported.

The militant group in a statement said that it was ready to discuss the release of all hostages in exchange for a “clear declaration to end the war, a total withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and creation of a committee of independent Palestinians to run the Gaza Strip.”

“Hamas welcomes any move that helps the efforts to stop the aggression against our people,” the group said, adding that it had received “some ideas from the American side aimed at reaching a ceasefire.” The statement also said Hamas was in “constant contact with mediators to turn these ideas into a comprehensive agreement that meets our demands.”

Trump on Sunday evening told reporters that he believed a deal to secure the release of all hostages held by Hamas could be reached soon.
