Uttar Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow on 25 December 2025, following which people were seen taking away decorative flower pots and plants placed along the roadside, ANI reported.

In visuals shared by the news agency, children were seen taking away flower pots. One child, who came to the site on a bicycle, was seen carrying several flower pots together in a bag. Others, including passersby on two-wheelers and e-rickshaws, also stopped by the site to take them away.

This is not the first incident of this nature in the state. Several similar instances have been reported during public events in the past, where people were seen running away with flower vases.
