On the Chief Minister's instructions, a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT)...has been constituted to investigate the incident.

Greater Noida car accident: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the Greater Noida car accident, according to news agency ANI, citing the Chief Minister’s Office.

On the Chief Minister’s instructions, a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT), under the leadership of the ADG, Meerut Zone, has been constituted to investigate the incident.

The Divisional Commissioner, Meerut, and the Chief Engineer, PWD, are also part of the SIT and have been tasked with submitting its report to the Chief Minister within five days.

Meanwhile, in a major action related to the Greater Noida car accident, the CEO of Noida and the MD of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation have been removed from their respective posts following the formation of the three-member SIT to probe the incident.
