The Punjab government today issued transfer and posting orders of eight IPS officers with immediate effect. Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson said that Parveen Kumar Sinha transferred and posted as IGP/Crime Punjab, Amardeep Singh Rai to continue as IGP/Patiala Range and in addition IGP/Vigilance Bureau and V. Neerja as IGP/Community Policing Punjab and in addition IGP Ropar Range.
Anita Punj now posted as Director MRS PPA, Phillaur and would look after additional charge of IGP/Training Punjab, Patil Ketan Baliram posted as SSP Fazilka, Akhil Chaudhary shifted as AIG/Community Policing Punjab SAS Nagar in addition Commandant 36th Bn PAP, Bahadurgarh, Gulneet Singh Khurana posted as SSP Moga and Balraj Singh has been shifted to SP/Special Protection Unit Punjab.
