Robbers attacked couple on bike, Wife Killed, Husband Escapes

MOGA: Wife killed after robbers attacked a couple on bike in a village at Moga district of Punjab. Balwinder Singh son of Mangat Singh, a resident of village Sherpur Taiban in Kot-ise-khan Tehsil in Moga, was returning home with his wife from his maternal village Daulewala last night. When he reached the village canal, three motorcycle-riding robbers stopped them and started beating them. They attacked the couple fatally with sharp weapons.
In this incident, wife Amarjit Kaur alias Babbu died on the spot and husband Balwinder Singh escaped to save his life.

As per the reports, police is investigating the matter and the CCTV footage of cameras installed near the place of the incident are being checked as part of the probe.
