Punjab Weather Update Today: Orange Alert in 11 districts, Yellow Alert in 3 districts

On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued in Gurdaspur, Amritsar, and Tarn Taran.

Punjab Weather Update Latest News Today, IMD Orange and Yellow Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert in 11 districts of the state for Monday i.e. August 12.

As per the official website of the India Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, SAS Nagar, Sangrur, and Patiala.

On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued in Gurdaspur, Amritsar, and Tarn Taran.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain, and thundershowers are predicted in a few places with heavy to heavy rain at isolated places in the state.

Reportedly, the temperature in Punjab on August 12, was around 38.0 °C while the day's forecast indicates a minimum and maximum temperature of 29.76 °C and 39.34 °C, respectively.
