PM Modi walked a short distance & thanked people standing on both sides of the road

KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a rousing welcome on his arrival here on Monday. Thousands of people, including Bharatiya Janata Party workers and supporters, stood in queues on both sides of the nearly two kilometer long route of their roadshow from INS Garuda Naval Air Base to the venue of the programme. Modi landed at the Naval Air Station after 5 pm and started his roadshow from there around 5:40 pm.

Dressed in traditional Kerala attire, PM Modi walked a short distance and thanked people standing on both sides of the road by shaking their hands. Strict security arrangements were made during the roadshow. Thousands of police forces were deployed for Modi's security.

People from different parts of the state stood in queues on both sides of the road for hours to shower flowers on the Prime Minister. Large cutouts of the Prime Minister were put up along the route of the roadshow and posters outlining his programs were put up in Kerala. After the roadshow, the Prime Minister reached the venue of the Yuvam 2023 event, where thousands of people, including celebrities, had arrived hours in advance.
