IMD Predicts Warming Trend Across Northwest India Over Next 7 Days

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), northwest India is likely to see a gradual increase in daytime temperatures by 2–3 degrees over the next seven days. Central and eastern regions are also likely to see similar warming over the next four days.

The IMD has warned of isolated to scattered light rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, in Chhattisgarh through tomorrow. Light rainfall or snowfall is likely in the northern hill regions, including Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, on Friday and Saturday.


IMD forecasts show a noticeable shift in temperature patterns, which may influence daily conditions as the week progresses.
