Thunderstorm likely at isolated places

Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh Weather Update: After severe cold days even in the first week of February, the regions of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh have finally started experiencing sunny days with a warm temperature.

Moreover, according to the report of the India Meteorological Department, there are chances of light to moderate rain accompanied with Thunderstorm likely at isolated places on 18th, at many places on 19th and at few places on 20th and at isolated places on 21st February over Punjab. 

Also, light to moderate rain is likely at few places on 19th and 20th and at isolated places on 21st February 2024 over Haryana and Chandigarh.

There are also chances of thunderstorm accompanied with gusty wind on 19th February 2024 over Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh. Hailstorm also likely to occur at isolated places over Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh on 19th February.

However, there will be no large change in minimum temperatures during next 2 days but, thereafter, there might be rise in the temperature by 2 to 3 degree celsius over Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.
