The dead bodies of both will becremated with state honours at their Native Villages

RAJOURI: Two Jawans of Himachal Pradesh were martyred in the terrorist attack in Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir. Jawan Pramod Negi of Sirmaur and Arvind Kumar of Kangra were killed in the terrorist attack. The dead bodies of both will be brought to their native village, where they will be cremated with state honours.

Pramod Negi (26) belonging to Shillai was posted in the 4th Para in the Indian Army. He joined the army 6 years ago. After receiving the news of the martyrdom, wave of sorrow has been engulfed in the bereaved family and the people in the entire area of Sirmaur.

Arvind Kumar, a resident of Panchayat Maru of Kangra district, was in the nine para commandos. His posting was in Kupwara. He returned to duty after taking leave two months ago. He is survived by his parents, wife and two daughters. 

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the martyrdom of Pramod and Arvind and consoled the families. He said that the great sacrifice of all the jawans who died in the Rajouri terrorist attack will always be remembered.
