Himachal Pradesh Weather Updates on June 25 : Shimla, June 25 — The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Shimla, has issued a Yellow Alert for six districts of Himachal Pradesh for June 25, warning of heavy rain, according to its latest updates.
The districts under yellow alert are Chamba, Kangra, Una, Mandi, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur.
There are no alerts for the remaining districts for today.
However, until 12 PM today, three eastern districts — Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, and Kinnaur — were under yellow alert for light rain, which is now waning. Meanwhile, the rest of the districts were under orange alerts, warning of moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
Weather Forecast for June 26:
For June 26, an orange alert has been issued for Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur, Una, Sirmaur, and Bilaspur, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, lightning, and squalls.
Meanwhile, Kullu, Shimla, and Solan are under yellow alerts, forecasting heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, lightning, and squalls.
There are no warnings in place for Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti for June 26.
