Himachal Weather Update Latest News Today, IMD Prediction This Week: After a few days of light spells of rain, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert in the state. During the initial days of July 2024, people were worried after a few areas witnessed heavy rains causing flash floods in Himachal Pradesh. 

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a yellow alert was issued in Himachal Pradesh on July 20 in Una, Bilaspur, Solan, Shimla, and Sirmaur, while in other districts there is a green alert. 

Likewise, the IMD stated that there was no warning of rain in Lahul Spiti And  Kinnaur on  July 21 and July 22, while other districts Chamba, Kangra, Solan, Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, and Sirmaur had yellow alerts issued on both the days 

On July 23, only  Lahul Spiti has a green alert and in Mandi, Hamirpur, UNA, Bilaspur, and Solan there will be an alert of very high rain, thunderstorms, and lightning, whereas in other districts of  Himachal Pradesh, there is yellow alert, means there were chances of rain. 

Lahul and Spiti have no warning of rain on July 24, while other districts Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, Kullu, and Kangra have yellow alerts, which means there will be rain on July 24  in these districts.
