Last night in the Paonta Sahib area of ​​the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, a person died due to a cloudburst and being hit by a fence. After the cloudburst, there was heavy rain at night.
Paonta Sahib police and local people started a search operation to find the missing person. After about five hours, the body of the missing person was found in the Tons River, about two kilometers away from the house.
The incident of cloudburst occurred at about one o'clock last night in Retua village of Danda Aanj Panchayat of Giripar area. This has also damaged the fertile land of the local people.
It is being told that as soon as heavy rain started at night, Aman Singh came out of the house and went towards his cowshed. During this time, he got caught in the water.
On the other hand, a flash flood warning has been issued in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla and Sirmaur, as per the IMD's weather update today.
The Meteorological Department has issued a flash flood warning at some places in Shimla and Sirmour districts for the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is getting active from today. This can create flood-like conditions in some areas of Shimla and Sirmour districts.
Orange alert for 22-23 July
IMD has also issued an orange alert for heavy rain on 22 and 23 July. On 22 July, heavy rain may occur in some areas of five districts Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, and Solan, while heavy rain is forecast in Solan and Sirmour on 23 July. The weather is likely to remain bad in the state till 25 July.
