Orders Suspension Of Internet Services In Charkhi Dadri & Bhiwani Latest News: The Haryana government has ordered the suspension of mobile internet and bulk SMS services in Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani districts until 2:00 PM on August 2, Encounter News reported, citing an order issued by the state Home Department.
According to the report, the order has been initiated in the wake of rising tension following the alleged murder of a girl named Manisha.
The order has been issued to prevent the spread of rumours, inflammatory content, and misinformation through social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).

The suspension covers 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, CDMA and GPRS mobile internet services, bulk SMS (excluding banking and mobile recharge services), and all dongle-based data services.

The order was issued following a request from senior police officers, citing potential public disorder, vandalism, and violent activities in the affected areas
All telecom providers have been directed to comply strictly with the suspension order. Anyone found violating the directive will face legal action under relevant laws, the notification said, as per the report.
