30 acres of land has been allotted for the Rose Garden and festivals are organized at this place every year to showcase the roses blooming in the garden of Chandigarh.

The idea of Rose Festival Chandigarh was actually planned by Mohinder Singh Randhawa, which reveals his interest in gardening and horticulture.

Every year in late February and early March, the Rose Festival is organized in Chandigarh where over 20,000 people visit from across the country.
