Neeraj Chopra Becomes Audi India’s New Brand Ambassador, latest news: Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has been announced as the new brand ambassador of Audi India. The JSW Sports, the sports division of the JSW Group, made the announcement on Monday, 26 May.

Sharing about the collaboration on his Instagram handle, Neeraj Chopra wrote, “Just like most other kids, I always had a fascination for cars. But I never even dreamt that a moment like this could come true. Glad to be part of the @audiin family!”

“Whether it’s on the field or in life, the pursuit of excellence never stops. I’m excited to join the Audi family and represent a brand that inspires forward motion in everything it does,” Chopra was quoted as saying in a report by CNBC. However, it is not clear where he made this statement.

Making the announcement Audi India in a post on its X handle, calling the “ partnership defined by grit, passion, and performance,” wrote, “We’re super excited to have Neeraj Chopra, our Olympic champion, associated with the Audi India family. Can’t wait for the ride ahead!”

According to the CNBC report, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, praised the javelin champion, saying he represents the brand’s spirit of breaking limits and pursuing excellence.

“Determined and iconic, his journey from ambition to achievement mirrors Audi’s progressive DNA. His focus, speed, and unmatched performance make him a natural extension of our brand — a symbol of what it means to lead, not follow,” Dhillon added.

Audi India is the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Audi AG, which is part of the Volkswagen Group. Established in 2007, Audi India operates under the umbrella of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), which also oversees brands like Škoda, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Lamborghini in India.
