Expulsion comes after son claimed that his FB page had been hacked following a post on the platform alleging he was “in a relationship”

Lalu Prasad Yadav Expels Son Tej Pratap Yadav latest news: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday expelled his son and former minister Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for six years ahead of the Bihar state polls. Therefore, under the given circumstances, he is distancing him from both the party and the family.

In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Lalu Prasad Yadav stated:
“Ignoring moral values in personal life weakens our collective struggle for social justice. The activities, public conduct, and irresponsible behavior of my eldest son do not align with our family values and traditions. Therefore, in light of these circumstances, I distance him from both the party and the family. From now on, he will have no role whatsoever in the party or the family. He is expelled from the party for six years.”
