Microsoft Windows Down News Today: A technical snag is very common when it comes to technological applications or systems. In the meanwhile, Microsoft Windows witnessed a huge outage causing panic among the people using it for a long time. People wondered why the Facebook and Instagram apps were not working today. 

Meanwhile, people took to X, formerly known as 'Twitter', to express their disappointment after Microsoft Windows went down and the news hit the headlines to know why these apps were not working.  

According to DownDetector, over 51 percent of users witnessed issues while logging in, 26 percent with the application, and 21 percent on the website. 

One of the users wrote, "Microsoft Windows is not working." One another wrote: "Microsoft, What Happened?"  

"Anyone else freaks out and thinks they were being hacked?" wrote another. One more user wrote: "Microsoft users flocking to X to check if these websites were down."
