Himanshi Khurrana Arrest Latest News: Punjabi actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Himanshi Khurana's father, Kuldeep Khurana, has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody by a Phillaur court. The arrest comes in connection with an alleged assault and verbal abuse of a Naib Tehsildar during election duty in Goraya, Punjab, five months ago.

As per the report, an FIR was registered against Kuldeep Khurana based on a complaint filed by Naib Tehsildar Jagpal Singh. The complaint accuses Khurana of obstructing Singh's official duty, using abusive language, and physically assaulting him. The incident, reportedly recorded on video by an accompanying staff member, served as key evidence in the case.

Despite multiple police raids in Ludhiana over the past few months, Khurana evaded arrest. However, acting on a recent tip-off, Goraya Police apprehended him at his residence. He was presented before the Phillaur court and subsequently sent to Kapurthala Jail.

SHO Palwinder Singh of Goraya Police Station confirmed the arrest, emphasizing that the charges include interference with a government official's work and physical assault during official duty. The investigation remains ongoing to ascertain further details related to the incident.
